Centro Basko Argentino 'Euzko Etxea' de Necochea

The Euzko Etxea of Necochea is one of the six “large or traditional” centres with a guaranteed seat on the Board of Directors of the FEVA. It was born in 1945, in a city that bears the surname of Mariano Necochea, one of the officers with Basque surnames who accompanied San Martín. In the federation's early years it was one of the centres that undertook to give Basque classes. It has a fronton and a restaurant, and through the youth programme “Hator Hona” it runs cultural exchanges with Euskadi. The Basque Government has recognised it since 11 April 1995, with 431 members in its register.
