Centro Basko 'Etxe Alaia'

The Centro Basko Etxe Alaia of Pehuajó was founded on 27 July 1956. When it turned fifty, in 2006, it opened the Paseo Lagunak in the city in tribute to what the Basques had given Pehuajó, with a mass and the centre's choir, Neure Lagunak, and at the ceremony it paid express tribute to its founding members. The Basque Government recognised it on 18 July 2000, and its register credits it with 212 members.
