Eusko-Brasildar Etxea

The Eusko-Brasildar Etxea, the Casa Vasco-Brasileira of Itapevi, in the state of São Paulo, is one of the Basque houses founded in Brazil in the twenty-first century. It was founded in 2009 and the Basque Government recognised it on 9 December of that same year. It took only a few years to become part of the life of the city: the council established a Dia dos Bascos by municipal law, whose first official edition was held in July 2011 in the council chamber, and that same year the centre organised its first Semana Basca.
