Casa Vasca Euskal Etxea Inc. de Santo Domingo

The Casa Vasca Euskal Etxea Inc. of Santo Domingo is the only Basque entity recognised in the Dominican Republic, a country where the colony of the 1939 exile never came to have a centre of its own. The Basque Government recognised it on 30 August 1996, almost half a century after the delegation it had kept on the island closed, in 1948. Its entry on euskalkultura.eus lists it as not active.
