Seattle Euskal Etxea

The Seattle Euskal Etxea began in 1993 as informal gatherings of Basques from the area at the home of Tony and Shelly Diego, in Monroe (Washington). It was formally constituted in 1997 with Blas Uberuaga, who also drew the club's logo, as its first president, and the Basque Government recognised it in December of that same year. Every spring it holds a dinner with a mus tournament in Cle Elum, at which the annual general meeting of members also takes place.
