Centro Vasco de Flores - Floreseko Euskal Etxea

The Centro Vasco de Flores, in Trinidad, is in the department that, according to the local council, has the highest proportion of people of Basque origin in the country. Floreseko Euskal Etxea was refounded in 2010 and the Basque Government recognised it on 8 February 2011. That same year the Semana Nacional Vasca (National Basque Week) began to be held in Trinidad every April, with pelota, mus, food and talks on genealogy.
