About the centre
The Euskal Etxea Vasconia Florida was formed by descendants of Basques in Florida, who had been meeting for five years before they constituted it on 29 August 2019. Its legal personality came several years later, delayed by the pandemic. In 2023, with more than 130 members, it was working towards recognition by the Basque Government.
