About the centre
The Federación de Centros Vascos de Venezuela was formed in 1991 to unite the country's Basque centres: those of Caracas and Carabobo and those of the interior. Among the latter are those of Barcelona-Puerto La Cruz, El Tigre, Maracaibo, Cumaná and Aragua-La Victoria. The Basque Government recognised it on 25 March 1997. It has its premises in Valencia, on the same street, Las Flores, in the Coromoto neighbourhood, as the Centro Vasco Venezolano de Carabobo.
